Kris Lazer is a New York based photographer working in both digital and analog photography. Lazer studied business in university, but mostly got into trouble and experimented with cameras. Since she was a young child, she continuously recorded the scenes around her and especially her dogs.

She spent her first 3 years in New York producing, shooting, and editing full time in house for brands and multi-brand retailers within fashion. Over the last decade, her responsibilities evolved, shifting her into director level production, marketing, and e-commerce positions for independent labels and large luxury houses. In 2024, Lazer returned to photography full time after completing the Magnum Foundation Summer Residency program and a Magnum Intensive where she began creating personal photo work again and hand printing. She brings a deep understanding of the business of fashion, the importance of brand identity and evolution, as well as over a decade of creative development, photography, and editing experience to all her work.
